Playbour Research Lab

Furtherfield Gallery, London

Over three days a co-creation research lab brought together artists, researchers, scientists, and activists, in an ambitious and intensive programme of experiments, interventions, and performances.

Led by a diverse community, and working towards a group exhibition at Furtherfield Gallery in July 2018, the converging spaces of work, play, and well-being, was explored resulting in a number of new “game” commissions created by the group and exhibited at Furtherfield Gallery.

This is a socially-engaged project that challenges how and why we come to know and understand society and technology. Co-creation research involves end users in developing ideas. The aim is to play off each other in a ‘live’ context to generate detailed new perspectives and ideas.
